Simply stated, imagine that in the beginning, nothing existed. However, to have a beginning, time must somehow be involved. Therefore, originally, nothing except time existed before anything else like space, energy, or matter. This simple hypothesis suggests a new approach to spacetime, where time itself becomes the substrate upon which all else derives, aligning with the concept of dimensional evolution. This idea, which you realize must have been like this forever, to infinite time, can generate a model of the Universe. Subsequent logic shows that a singular spatial dimension can be formed from infinite time, with energy and matter arising from patterns in that spacetime dimension. Finally, this spacetime theory dictates that if this dimension also exists to infinity, which could be possible after everything reaches a steady-state or frozen condition, another, and then one more, spacetime may be created. This gives us the model of the 3D Universe we currently live in.
